Veterinarian
I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Animal Science and pre-veterinary medicine in 2015 (Go Tigers!) and earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. I've been with Cabarrus Animal Hospital since graduating and haven't looked back! I have a passion for ophthalmology, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and private practice business management.
I’m also a proud member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Favorite Part of my Job
My favorite part of being a veterinarian is serving the clients and patients we see every day alongside the incredible staff at Cabarrus Animal Hospital. I particularly enjoy ophthalmology, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and the unique challenges of private practice business management. It’s rewarding to build relationships with our clients and provide the best care possible for their pets.
Why I chose this profession
I’ve always loved animals and found the puzzle-solving aspect of medicine fascinating. While exploring my career options, I briefly considered human medicine, but after witnessing my grandmother’s open-heart surgery, I realized veterinary medicine was my true calling.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, art collecting, traveling, and reading. I love spending time with friends and family and cheering on my favorite teams—the Clemson Tigers and the Buffalo Bills.
